I Love My Job But..... How Can I Work Smarter And Not Harder?
Quotes to keep me motivated to aspire for more in life:
- "The best way to appreciate your job is to imagine yourself without one." - Oscar Wilde
- "All work is seed sown. It grows and spreads, and sows itself anew." - Thomas Carlyle
- "Profit is a by-product of work; happiness is its chief product." - Henry Ford
With that being said, I am a hard dedicated worker. People who work with me, or hopefully when I have found my niche - who have worked with me - would say I'm good at what I do. I'm focused, dedicated, thrive for challenge, and want to please as well as innovate. But, a little voice in my head tells me that I was meant for more. How can I make money and still have my own schedule to enjoy my family and life? Follow me on my journey. I may end up finding that I benefit most by going to a typical 9-5 job, like the one I have now. Or maybe, just maybe, there is something out there that can support the lifestyle I want. I'm sure you may see me rise and fall. It's worth looking to. If I never take this adventure I will always find my self wondering, "what if?".What can I do from home?:
- Bake Cakes? - Done it, it's fun but I just don't feel skilled enough to charge top dollar.
- Sell on EBay? - Done it, I made $1200 in one month until I ran out of stuff to sell.
- Typical Work From Home: Typist, Assistant, etc. - I'm good at this... Let see where it leads.
- Work from home on the phone? NO. I'm friendly, but I'm on the phone all day at work. I want to have free time, not be tied down to a schedule.
- Catalog Sales- Done it. I guess I loss momentum.
- Surveys- Annoying. You get almost done with a survey and then get to a window that says that you don't qualify. Forget it.
- Stock Market- Interesting. I need more time to research this.

Searching the web for Work from home....... A bunch of scams...... I can foresee junk e-mails and viruses. I will only look into free stuff that doesn't look like an advertisement.
Many years ago, I once paid $75 for a website/program that claimed you would make money. At the end of reading a bunch of crap and never any real details. The author stated that the trick was to go out and do the same. Build a persona and sell it. Also, he said that you would never get your money back from the credit card purchase for his knowledge. After all he did indeed reveal his big secret to making money. That was a very embarrassing moment for myself. I have integrity and would never in and world imagine charging someone for advice like that. Lesson learned.
I have done the research for you.

How to Avoid a Scam:
- Search the site you are interested with the word " review" or "scam". You can find people who have written reviews about it. Anyone can make a review even the person hosting the scam website. They will post positive reviews. Look for advertisements, too much may mean they are recruiting anyone to make a money off of them.
- Most work-at-home jobs don't need to spam random people because they want talented people not just anyone. Avoid unsolicited emails claiming to offer work-at-home jobs.
- If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
- Do not pay anything upfront. The point is for you to make money, not to pay out. I would say 90% of them asking for money upfront will lead nowhere.
- Gather references from people who work for a site. You can find them on social networking sites and forums if you do a little searching. Contact an employee and ask questions.
Goodluck! Hope this helps someone out there :)
